On Easter Sunday of 2005, the Native American Baptist Ministries in Canton, Oklahoma held their first service. At 4:00pm, fifty-four persons gathered to celebrate the event and participate in a variety of activities leading to the official constitution of the new church. An Easter egg hunt was held for the children at 4:30. A fellowship meal was served at 5:00 The worship service and the constitution of the new church was held at 6:30. The new church is a reality and a Baptist work among Native Americans in Canton has been resurrected after twenty years.  The photographs below represent a visual account of the activities.
